It's a girl. And she's healthy, 7 ounces, and quite active. Grandpa Foster is really excited.

Daycare

We really enjoyed the daycare that we visited today. Jeremy gives it a thumbs up. Thanks Ashley and Jeff for recommending it.

18 weeks (minus a day)

18 weeks. Just a couple of more days until the big doctor's visit to find out if it is a boy or girl.

Day Care

Jeremy and I are going to visit out first day care on Friday. A friend of mine from work has her little boy there and she loves it. I hope that we have a good experience so that I am not turned off by the idea of day care. Wish us luck.

Puppy Dogs and Concussions

Bella, our 9 month old malti-poo, was chasing our other dog around the living room the other day when she jumped off the couch into the coffee table and gave herself a concussion. If you have never seen a dog with a concussion, it isn't a fun sight. There's nothing like being up until midnight because the dog is vomiting every 20 minutes and salivating/drooling all over every thing. It took her two days before she would eat, and then, only a couple of goldfish at a time. We knew she was recovering when she started barking again.

Hurricane Ike repairs

They are finally going to start repairing the roofs that were damaged by hurricane Ike this week. Since apparently all of the buildings in the complex were damaged, it is going to take a while. After they finish the roofs, the interior work repairs will be done. So, we may finally get our plastic wall and carpet (pictured above) repaired.

Jeremy and I created this blog to give everyone updates of our growing family. We have been married since October 20, 2007. We have two crazy dogs Kizzie and Bella. Our newest addition will be arriving at the end of June so stay tuned.
